How to repurpose one piece of content across channels without repeating yourself

Start from one core idea and adapt it to each channel: a different format, length, opening line and call to action for each.

Start from one core idea

Choose content with substance: a guide, a well-answered frequent question, a launch. Sum up in one sentence what the viewer should remember. That sentence stays the same across all channels.

Adapt, don't copy

Each channel has its own format and reading style:

  • Short vertical video: a single message, straight from the start.
  • Carousel: the idea split into steps, one per slide.
  • Text post: context and opinion.
  • Email: the fullest version, with a link to read more.
  • Google profile or website: the practical information (dates, conditions, how to book).

Format and sizes

Prepare the image or video in each channel's aspect ratio instead of cropping at the end, so no text or key part of the image is lost. Recommended sizes change: check each platform's official help.

Spread it over time

You do not need to publish everything on the same day. Spacing the versions across your calendar keeps the message visible for longer and lets you see which format works best for you.
